Introduction – a bit about us…

Motivated by ‘The Great Commission’ (Matt

28:18-20) and a passion to see Christians

become true disciples of Jesus Christ, Peter

and Nancy Stanway formed The Way

Christian Ministries (TheWayCM) as a

recognized charity in 1997.

Charity number SCO 27189

Having pastored in Drumchapel, Glasgow

(Scotland) for seven years, the Lord released

them in 2005 into an international ministry

that now spans the globe.

Peter has written a huge storehouse of

relevant Christian Discipleship Resources

that are now being used in a variety of

languages.

Welcome to this first quarterly newsletter from

The Way Christian Ministries (TheWayCM).

Many of you reading this have been friends of

TheWayCM for many years and a great many of you

have become our personal friends.

We have decided to make this paper newsletter to

keep those of you who want to keep up-to-date with

our ministry but don’t like to or cannot access the

internet.

For those of you who receive our news via the

internet, this newsletter is not a repeat of what is

online. It is distinct and full of relevant news

presented in a unique and informative way..

Aiming for Excellence in All Things

We rejoice in God’s goodness to us and His

continuing blessings upon TheWayCM.

2012 has been an awesome year. TheWayCM

Pakistan has been able to establish the first ever

Christian Bible College/Training for Life (TFL)

Centre in Multan, Pakistan. We have also

launched an Urdu TV channel. Our team in

Pakistan is currently translating the Word for

Today into Urdu (distributed by United Christian

Broadcasters - UCB). TheWayCM Pakistan is

currently discipling more than 6,000 Christians.

TheWayCM in Kenya, West Africa, through

strategic partnerships, are now feeding more than

16,500 school children every day. We are

currently reaching more than 5,000 Christians

through our Home Church strategy.

‘The Daily Way’ our ministry e-paper publishes

topical Christian news every day and we have

our own TV Channel on the Rev Media platform.

We have published our first off-line Christian

Discipleship Course called, ‘McKenzie’s

Companion’ and our online course; ‘GlobalTFL’

earned Peter Stanway a Bachelors Degree.

Global Training for Life

In 2013 we expect to move our ministry base from

Kilcreggan House, Scotland to Largs, Scotland and to

Mijas, Spain. We have been in Kilcreggan House for

15 years and in that time the main ethos has changed

from ministering to large conference-size groups to

working with smaller groups in a more ‘hands-on’

way.

For this reason we will be offering discipleship and

mentoring to groups containing a maximum of six

people and for shorter periods of modular input for

one to two weeks at a time. Our Training for Life

(TFL) Courses will continue to form the foundation

of all training. Although open to all, we intend to

bring our overseas leaders to us for training too.

Rev. Peter Stanway B.Min., co-founder of

TheWayCM, is also an artist and in July 2013 an

exhibition of his art photography begins in Mijas,

Spain. Peter is planning for his exhibition to tour

Spain, France and Italy.

To coincide with these exhibitions Peter will launch

the relevant translation of his autobiography in each

country. The foreign language title will change from

‘Wee Boys from Glasgow Don’t Cry’ (English) to

‘From Death to Life’ in other languages.
