THE PRE-KINDERGARTEN CLASS
On Sunday mornings, you will find loving
hands guiding the Pre-Kindergarten room. Sixty
-seven children are registered for Pre-
Kindergarten; keeping Georgette Sweeney, Me-
gan Kilonzo, Darrin Bush, and Paula Gascoigne
busy welcoming children into their classrooms.
Upon entering, the morning has just begun! The
children go to the puppet room to sing and par-
ticipate in a drama that explains the Bible les-
son, and then they head back to their rooms for
snacks, games, and an activity.
Please continue to pray for this team, that they
would be blessed by being on the XOS Ministry
Team, and that they would continue to be a
blessing to the Pre-Kindergarten children and
their families. We will miss Jane Larson as she
takes off to recover from knee surgery,
KIDS CAN MAKE IT WHEN YOU ARE THEIR
TAXI!
Be the wheels for your child! Call Trish Wean-
der (402)371-9005 if your child needs a ride to
a Children’s Ministry activity, including Sunday
Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday

Members of Our Savior Lutheran Church,
Christ Lutheran School would like to hold a “Career Day” for its 7th and 8th graders and we are in
need of your help. Each student has given us their top 2 or 3 career picks of interest.
Christ Lutheran School would like to help these students meet members of our Churches
in Norfolk who have the same career or a career that parallel’s the students’ career picks.
What we are asking our congregational members to do is to look through the list below to
determine if your current or former occupation/career fits one of the following on the list.
If so, we would like for you to come to our career day on March 8th from 2:00PM to
3:15PM to speak with the students who are interested in what you do. They will come
with questions about the job, education required, positives, negatives, of the job and eve-
rything in between. If you would like to help, please contact Amanda Hafer at (402) 316-
4728 (home phone) or [email protected] and we will give you more infor-
mation as we collect our data. If your career or job is not listed below but you would like
to share information about it with the students, please let us know and we would wel-
come you to come and speak to the students as well. If we continue this activity every
year, student interests will change.
Our goals for this project include:
Helping students explore career pathways early
Helping students prepare for high school classes, college classes, or on the job training that
may be required for their dream job
Helping students determine what a plan B may look like if their first career choice does not
work out.
Creating a bond between our students and adults from our congregations who have a faith in
Jesus Christ and may serve as a mentor for that student in the future
Listed below are the occupations & career areas that this year’s Jr. High students are interested in:
