Xplore Our Savior

RM 56 EXPANSION SPRING ACTIVITY April 10, 4:30-8:O0 This is a

servant event for grades 5-6 through Mercy Meals and Orphan

Grain Train. We will have after school snack at church, pizza sup-

per and more! Parents are needed to drive or chaperone. Parents

are also welcome to join us in our evening of fun! Register and

turn in all forms by April 3.

“SHIPWRECKED” VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WILL BE THE EVE-

NINGS OF SUNDAY JULY 22-26. Mark your family’s calendar and

ask your friends to join us! While “SHIPWRECKED” we will be res-

cued by none-other than Jesus! Interested in helping, contact

Trish Weander.

VBS DIRECTOR’S Vacation Bible School has 30 Directors each year.

We meet once a month to plan. Twenty Two Directorships are full

leaving eight openings for you to consider. Is God leading you to

help? Below are the openings you can choose from:

Director of Craft Area 2 yr. Olds- Kindergarten- Oversee craft

area, craft leaders and subs, rotations, picture taking/

developing, organize background for pictures, coordi-

nate set-up, greet and direct crew leaders as they arrive

at the craft area, locate volunteers, attend training, safe-

ty training and Director’s Gatherings.

Director of the Large Group Bible Lesson for 2 yr. Olds- Kin-

dergarten- Teach the Bible Point, learn the script, hold

rehearsals, organize supplies and sets needed, locate

volunteers, attend training, safety training and Director’s

Gatherings.

Co-Director of Large Group Bible Lesson for 2 yr. Olds- Kinder-

garten- Help the Director teach the Bible Point by learn-

ing the script, attending rehearsals, organizing supplies

and sets, locating volunteers, attending training, safety

training and Director’s Gatherings.

Co-Director of Large Group Bible Lesson for Grades 1-6- Help

the Director teach the Bible Point by learning the script,

attending rehearsals, organizing supplies and sets, lo-

cating volunteers, attending training, safety training and

Director’s Gatherings.

Director of Wall of Helping Hands- Oversee grades 5-8 com-

plete projects for VBS, communicate with VBS Directors,

organize and plan each Wall of Helping Hands session,

attend Director’s Gatherings.

Director of Shopping- Receive lists of needed supplies from

VBS Directors, shop and purchase.

Director of Decorations- Organize decorating, locate and or-

ganize volunteers to transport decorations, decorate and

tear down, attend Director’s Gatherings.

Director of Security- Oversee security, security guards, lights/

doors, parking lot, mission $, prize patrol, lost kids, know

map, rosters, and rotation system, locate volunteers,

attend training, safety training and Director’s Gatherings.
