Two guests, hopefully future new members, were Cheryl Rellstab and Colleen Baker, Scott Browne also brought a guest, Julia Farmington Person of Music in the Mountains. Announcements: There will be a field trip to the Salvation Army Camp on August 26. Enjoy the fresh air! Rotary District 5190 will host "Avenues of Service" on 9/28. Register online. The Spiller’s attended an event with a former RI Presi- dent. There were 200 people practicing the 4 Way Test! They also presented to the club a flag from Kathmandu which they received on a pre- vious trip. It's Fair Week! Three 4-H Mem- bers visited the club and talked about their projects. The animals they have been rais- ing will be shown at the fair. Braden Smith of Meadow Lark, Jayden Yocum of Penn Val- ley, and Savannah Hansen, Meadowlark recited the 4-H pledge which talks about Hands, Head, Heart and Health. Accompanying the students was Tim Reid, Nevada Union asst. princi- pal, who is the president of the Livestock Producers. If they are lucky, the bid will be high enough to cover their expenses AND have extra left over to purchase needed supplies and contribute money towards next year’s animal.
