Injection molding provides a 40% more consistent shape and fit, mirroring the corresponding shape created by the file compared to traditional hand-rolled gutta-percha.

That’s why Dentsply Sirona gutta-percha master cones mirror the variable taper and shape of the corresponding files used for final shaping. As the first gutta-percha master cone made with a multi-taper to match the corresponding file, they provide the desired tug back with a superior apical fit.

The Next Generation

A 3D FillThe unique formulation of gutta-percha heats more consistently so it has a better flow, achieving a longer reach in the canal and better adaptation to the canal walls, promoting a 3D fill. Heat transfers through the gutta-percha cone up to 4 mm beyond the heat source so you can be sure you have warm, flowable gutta-percha all the way to the apex. This enables the clinician to utilize a lower heat plugger temperature, thereby improving patient safety.
