I don’t know about you, but I’m so glad it’s al-

most Spring Break!! That means our terms are quickly

coming to an end in less than 12 days at DCON.

Outties, its been a pleasure working with you all.

Please train your innies please please please as it is

the last of your duties! I will see you all at the March

DCM for the final time.. And I promise I won’t cry :D

Innies, you are all embarking on a new and re-

warding journey, but don’t worry you’ll get the hang

of it! Know that you’ll have your very own Lieutenant

Governor, Soobeen Park, to be your shoulder to cry

on and your go-to-person.

AY, WE LOVE SERVING! INDOOR TRACKMEET

It was a great turnout last Friday night and I’m glad a lot of you had fun and built many

memories! Congratulations to Pinetee for coming in first place once again and Britannia for

winning the Spirit Stick. I would like to mention Tupper as a second Spirit Stick winner, you guys

were absolutely adorable with your banner and hair accessories! To everyone, I’m sorry if

things didn’t go as planned, but thank-you for understanding and being amazing. BIG BIG

SHOUTOUTS to all my volunteers, you guys didn’t complain and gave me so much backup,

honestly so much love to you all ! <3 Thank-you to Ms. Parker, Mr. Lee, Allan, Kelly, and Bren-

da for chaperoning and attending to make the trackmeet happen this year!

2012-2013 PNW District Project : Project Educate

Divisional Goal

$3,000 Each club needs to raise $300 to make this possible!

Or goal is to raise $30000 as a District to send to three schools in Jamaica to

provide library equipment, student assistance, and classroom materials to

improve the quality of education.

The 5 CONTRIBUTIONS when we raise $30,000 :

#1 10, 000 Supplies and library equipment for Mona Heights Primary School

#2 10, 000 Rebuilding of Wakefield Primary School’s library

#3 3, 000 Online classroom assistance to 150 students across Jamaica

#4 4, 000 School supplies for St. Mary School

#5 3, 000 High School scholarships for 10 students across Jamaica

#ELIMIN8 In 34 countries around the world, maternal and neona-

tal tetanus (MNT) can quickly turn the joy of childbirth

into tragedy. MNT kills one baby every nine minutes. Its

effects are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeat-

ed, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light

and touch. There is little hope of survival. And tetanus

kills mothers too.

KCCP Background The Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program was first established by Kiwanis Dis-trict Governor Frank Morehouse in the memory of a 10 year old girl, Penny, who died of brain cancer in 1964. The main goal for KCCP is to raise money for cancer research and this will continue until the cure for Children’s Cancer is found.
