Transcript of THE LORD’S DAY
THE LORD’S DAY
(Rev 1:1) The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants
things which must shortly come to pass;
and he sent and signified it by his
angel unto his servant John:
The Daniel ConnectionDaniel writes of the same subject in the Old Testament, just not as in detail as John
The reason for the lack of detail in Daniel is…
(Dan 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end…
(Rev 19:9-10) And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are
they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See
thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the
testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus
is the spirit of prophecy.
(Rev 22:8) And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to
worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
(Rev 22:9) Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy
fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of
them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
(Rev 22:10) And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
(Rev 22:10) And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
(Dan 12:4) But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book,
even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge
shall be increased.
Argument #1
It is an Angel that is leading him and Daniel is not an angel.
Answer #1
(Mat 22:30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
Argument #2
Why would God refer to him (Daniel) as a angel?
Answer #2(Exo 3:2) And the angel of the LORD
appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire,
and the bush was not consumed.
(Exo 3:4) And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him
out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Always notice when God repeats himself!
(Rev 1:4) John to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which
was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are
before his throne;
(Rev 1:8) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the
Almighty.
(Rev 1:18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have
the keys of hell and of death.
I. The Theme Of
Revelation (Rev 1:7) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him,
and they also which pierced him: and all
kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
(Rev 1:19) Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be
hereafter;
Understanding the outline of RevelationIn order to have 3 divisions in the book there must be 2 place that create those divisions, and make a transition to the next point of the outline. These 2 place are seen when heaven opens.
(2Ti 2:15) Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that
needeth not to be ashamed, rightly
dividing the word of truth.
(Rev 4:1) After this I looked, and,
behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was
as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up
hither, and I will shew thee things which must be
hereafter.
(Rev 19:11) And I saw heaven opened, and
behold a white horse; and he that sat upon
him was called Faithful and True, and in
righteousness he doth judge and
make war.
(Rev 1:19) Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be
hereafter;

(Act 3:19-21) Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted
out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was
preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all
things, which God hath
spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the
world began.
(Jud 1:14-15) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his
saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to
convince all that are ungodly among them of all their
ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have
spoken against him.

Looking Back
Into the Future
(Rev 4:1-4) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a
trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must
be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in
heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a
sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an
emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I
saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads
crowns of gold.
