description

Laura Branigan was adamant about reaching the world, not merely America. She spent a lot of time over seas doing television and promotional work. On January 8, 1983, Record Mirror UK came out with this fun interview, and beautiful shot of Laura. She speaks of the time she and her friends were involved in the stowaway incident. The ship was the 'SS France', which was decommissioned in early 1974. It was remodeled and returned to the fleet in 1980 with a new look and name, the 'SS Norway'. And also she spoke about the great success of "Gloria", the emotion as her rule to choose the songs to interpret, her view of herself and in relation to musical styles. Enjoy!. * As usual, I transcribed the article to be more easily shared with Laura's worldwide fans but I couldn't add the full transcript here, so to read it and discover much more, visit our Facebook fanpage following this link https://goo.gl/ON46Un
