What is the International Student Barometer?

• The ISB is the largest annual study of international students in the world, with feedback from 600,000 international students since 2005

• The survey also included the response of Imperial’s domestic students in the Student Barometer (SB)

• The survey sampled the opinion of first year students in November 2009

• Running in 16 countries across 5 continents

• The data allows Imperial to compare its performance with both London (LDN) and Russell Group (RGi) institutions, as well as from an international (ISB) and home student (SB) perspective.

Benchmarking Institutions

16 London institutions (LDN) took part in the ISB

123 institutions took part in the ISB- 57 from the UK

27 institutions participated in the Student Barometer (SB)

12 Russell Group (RGi) institutions took part in the ISB
