THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR THE BUILDING PERMIT AND ALL REQUIRED ADDITIONAL PERMITS AND FEES, LICENSES, AND INSPECTIONS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THE WORK. THE EXISTING BUILDING INFORMATION SHOWN IS DIAGRAMMATIC AND BASED UPON THE BEST INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; HOWEVER, IT MAY NOT REFLECT ALL FIELD CONDITIONS AT THE TIME OF CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND THE COORDINATION OF THE WORK PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION. UPON COMPLETION OF THE WORK, ALL EXISTING MATERIALS, SYSTEMS AND ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE REPLACED, REPAIRED, OR REFIT TO MATCH OR EXCEED THE FIT, FINISH AND PERFORMANCE OF PREVIOUS CONDITIONS WITH APPROVAL OF APPROPRIATE PARTIES. DO NOT PROCEED WITH WORK UNTIL UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS WHICH AFFECT SAFETY, STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY, OR WATER TIGHTNESS OF BUILDING ARE CORRECTED. STORAGE & INSTALLATION ALL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE STORED AND INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. COORDINATE SITE STORAGE WITH PROPERTY OWNER. IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE CONTRACTOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR INITIATING, MAINTAINING, AND SUPERVISING ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND PROGRAMS IN THE PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS FOR THE SAFETY OF PERSONS AND PROTECT THEM AGAINST INJURY. HISTORIC BUILDING: THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE AWARE THAT THE BUILDING IS OF HISTORIC NATURE AND CONSTRUCTED OVER 100 YEARS AGO. TRADITIONAL MEANS OF DEMOLITION SUCH AS JACK HAMMERING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DUE TO EXCESSIVE VIBRATION AND POTENTIAL DAMAGE TO THE STRUCTURE. GENERAL
