This is the view from Pond Street.
Extension to the left is for restrooms and upstairs Youth Room.
Extension to the right is covered porch
Siding is Hardy Board throughout
Synthetic stone crawl space skirt with vents
Red brick steps to be repaired or replaced
New handrail added to right side of red brick steps
Window framing to be same as existing building
Round window to be retained
Tower to be repaired and new cupola and steeple added – probably fiberglass

Right Side Elevation:
This is the view of the church from the parking lot.
Repair tower and install new cupola and steeple - Probably fiberglass.
Add 24 inch round panels to match round windows on photo of 1908 church
Run the roof line from existing roof straight to end of new building
Window framing to be the same as existing building
Siding to be hardy board throughout
Synthetic Stone crawl space skirt with vents
Remove existing overhead service entrance wiring and relocate to south side of building
Concrete walkway from parking will be a slight slope to porch level
Breeze Way connecting buildings

First Floor Plan:
Altar area moved to Pond Street side with Sacristy on south side for preparing
communion
Sacristy closet on north side
Old Narthex door to sanctuary revised to open into choir area
Choir area opened up with wall removed toward altar area and pillar removed
Organ area as existing (118 sq.ft.) with door to wardrobe/music storage for Choir (120
sq.ft.)
Nave expanded with new wood floor (1,671 sq.ft.)
Women’s restroom with three commodes and two sinks and changing station
Men’s restroom with two urinals and one commode and changing station
Vestry for Pastor and Acolyte robes and equipment.
Cry Room (Nursery) (130 sq.ft.)
Lobby (Narthex) with sink, refrigerator and cabinets for coffee station (375 sq.ft)
Porch with ramp access from parking and from existing covered porch (195 sq.ft.)
Stairs to second floor
Fire barrier wall to avoid installing sprinklers in both buildings

Second Floor Plan:
Enclosed stairway to second floor with sun tunnel for lighting
Audio Visual room with lockable door and extra A/C
AV room has sliding glass window so operators can view service and listen if needed
Storage room with shelves
Closet with door (100 Sq.ft.)
Office (Youth Room) (415 Sq.ft.)
Door into attic which will house AC and water heater with extra storage available

Seating Plan with Chairs:
Long Range Planning Committee recommends Chairs vs. Pews
With chairs we can seat 140 in nave and 40 in Choir area for 180
With pews we can seat 120 in nave and 40 in Choir area for 160
Chairs are more flexible. Can be arranged for Sunday School class, etc.
Chairs can be removed for wheel chair bound members.
Chairs will be hooked together to make them more stable for those who need support
for standing
Pews are not movable

Parking Lot:
Approximately 97 spaces
With total number of seats equal to 180 we need 120 spaces (at 1 space for 1.5)
With total number of seats equal to 180 we need 90 spaces (at 1 space for 2)
If we have just one row of spaces in front of church that will add about 10 spaces
No entry from Cemetery Street
Entries from Louisa Street and Caroline Street
Six handicap spaces
Sidewalk to door into Family Life Center
Pads for dumpster enclosure and storage shed
Enclosure and shed to be built by members
Remove overhead wiring and lighting
Install street lamps in keeping with historic City of Montgomery
Apply for grant to recoup 50% of cost of parking lot
