On Madison Avenue, Joseph will relocate

from 816 to 1061 Madison. Vera Wang is renovating her

Madison Avenue store. Tumi’s flagship has bowed at 610.

The renovation and expansion of Tom Ford’s flagship at

845 is complete. J. Mendel moved from 723 to a space

twice the size at 787. Fendi is shifting from Fifth Avenue

to 598. The Alexander McQueen flagship at 747 has

bowed. Molton Brown London and men’s clothier

Suitsupply are both launching shops at 635. Pucci finally

has a fall opening at 855. Teavana Fine Teas + Teavana

Tea Bar offers drinks and snacks as well as leaves at

1142. Just off the avenue, Peter Millar debuted at

36 East 57th Street (formerly Montblanc).

On Fifth Avenue, TopShop reportedly is eyeing a major

store. Barcelona’s Desigual was unveiled at 530.

Rent the Runway has its second showroom in the city

at Henri Bendel, 712.

On the Upper West Side, Cruciani launched its Cruciani

C accessories stop at Time Warner Center. Montmartre,

a women’s apparel boutique, will add to its store count

(others are in Williamsburg and Columbus Circle) at

282 Columbus Avenue. Sandro joins sister store Maje

on Columbus Avenue at 68th Street. Town Shop has

moved across the street to 2273 Broadway. Alexander

Wang protégé Boyoung Kim has its first boutique at

410 Columbus. Dutch beauty store Rituals will make its

U.S. entry at 420 Columbus. Organic burger restaurant

Bareburger will have its first Upper West Side location

at 795 Columbus Avenue. By the Way Bakery will bring

gluten-free goodies to 215 West 90th Street.

On the Upper East Side, Alexandre de Paris will soon

come to 1025 Lexington Avenue. Lush debuted its latest

shop at 206 East 86th Street. eShave will make its

neighborhood bow at 1025 Third Avenue.

In and near Herald Square, H&M is planning a four-

level, 63,000-square-foot store at 1293 Broadway (Herald

Center). Joe Fresh’s renovation of 215 West 34th Street

is complete. Blow now has an in-store salon at Macy’s.

Hudson Yards has its first anchor: Fairway. Vivoli Il

Gelato’s first gelateria outside Florence has opened a

counter at Macy’s!

In Midtown, Saks Fifth Avenue’s newly redone fragrance

section debuted in September. Vivienne Westwood will

return to New York at a five-story townhouse at 14 East

55th Street. Sprinkles Cupcakes, 780 Lexington Avenue

will expand into 782 for cupcake-vending machines,

cookies and ice cream! Sephora has taken 750 Lexington,

formerly Levi’s. Steve Madden, 720 Lexington Avenue,

is getting a grand renovation. Opening Ceremony will

anchor the redevelopment of SuperPier 57 (in 2015).

In Meatpacking, Kilian’s fragrances will launch its first

New York store at 804 Washington Street, featuring scents

inspired by the city. Doyle & Doyle’s antique and estate

jewelry is coming to the area at 412 East 13th Street.

In Noho, 3.1 Philip Lim will open a flagship at 48 Great

Jones Street. Curve has relocated to 57 Bond Street

(from 83 Mercer Street), near A.P.C.’s highly anticipated

49 Bond Street spot.

In Soho, Lyndsey Butler’s Veda has moved from the

Lower East Side to 19 Mercer Street. Carven opened its

long-awaited boutique at 83 Mercer Street. Vince has

debuted at 89 Mercer Street. Mexico’s Pineda Covalin

signed for 107 Mercer. Look for Tory Burch’s five-level

emporium (and a roof garden) at 151 Mercer Street.

Melissa Joy Manning’s designs are coming to 12 Wooster

Street. Band of Outsiders comes to the United States at

70 Wooster street in the spring. Eight Turn Crepe melds

American and Japanese flavors in its first American

location at 55 Spring Street. H&M’s COS brand will make

its U.S. debut at 129 Spring Street in spring 2014. Kate

Spade Saturday has taken its first permanent shop at

Fjällräven has come to Greene Street, at 38 and Halston

to number 59. Etienne Aigner’s lovely leather has a new

Soho home at 65 Greene Street. Alice + Olivia’s permanent

shop has opened at 98 Greene Street. Look for Proenza

Schouler at 121 Greene Street. Aether’s high-tech

outerwear will have a home at 13 Crosby. Ghurka’s pop-

up at 65 Prince Street has become a permanent location.

Corner Shop is the new brick-and-mortar outlet for

Harry’s grooming items, at 64 MacDougal Street. Clarks

will keep us walking in comfort at 547 Broadway, while

Schott NYC features currently on-trend motorcycle jackets

at 236 Elizabeth Street. The beauty scene will be enhanced

with Rouge NYC at 130 Thompson Street.

In Fidi, Jonathan Adler’s first Accessories Store has come

to 37 Greenwich Street. Ermenegildo Zegna will join a huge

Salvatore Ferragamo at Brookfield Place. Finest Café and

Marketplace will be downtown at 46 Trinity Place. Paris

Café has reopened at 119 South Street, at the Seaport.

In Union Square/Flatiron, Elizabeth Tanov’s apparel

and some home goods have an in-store boutique at

ABC Carpet & Home (888 and 881 Broadway). Also at

ABC Carpet & Home, the store is turning its mezzanine

into an art gallery/meditation space through the beginning

of 2014, featuring calligraphy from Thich Nhat Hanh.

Room & Board will have a flagship for its home furnishings

at 249 West 17th Street. Wedding Atelier is relocating to a

larger space at 72 Madison Avenue. Restoration Hardware

will open a gallery, RH Contemporary Art, at 437 West 16th

Street. Nearby in NoMad, Yeohlee Teng is moving from the

Garment District to 12 West 29th Street. Athleta will debut

on Fifth Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets.

In greenwich village, Robert Graham will offer his

menswear, women’s apparel and accessories at

380 Bleecker Street. SEAN’s menswear, including such

exclusive lines as Emile Lafaurie, has come to 13 Eighth

Avenue. Recall the days of the British Invasion with shoes

and accessories from Jeffery-West (19 Christopher Street).

Westside Market’s next location is in the East Village, at

84 Third Avenue.

In Williamsburg, construction should begin soon on the

Whole Foods at 240-242 Bedford Avenue. Brick + Mortar

has come to the neighborhood at 240 Kent Avenue. Sandro

has crossed the river to 65 N. 6th Street. Caron Callahan

showcases her apparel in a pop-up at the Wythe Hotel

(80 Wythe Street) through December 31. The Monocle

Order has opened at 5 Devoe Street. Kitchen shop Whisk

will expand into an adjacent space at 231 Bedford Avenue.

Elsewhere in brooklyn, the Vlanova antique and vintage

shop in Clinton Hill is moving to 711 Myrtle Avenue. West

Elm is consolidating its retail stores and offices into one

location at 55 Water Street. Kiehl’s is joining the beauty

boom in the borough with a shop at 124 Montague Street,

not far from the just-opened Sephora at 210 Joralemon

Street. Consignment shop Beacon’s Closet will move from

Williamsburg to 74 Guernsey Street in Greenpoint before

the year is out. Also in Greenpoint, the Brooklyn Night

Bazaar will now operate year-round at 29 Norman Avenue.

Los Angeles’ t-shirt shop Splendid has opened at 142 Court

Street in Cobble Hill. Intermix made its borough debut at

140 Smith Street, also Cobble Hill. Annie’s Blue Ribbon

General Store has moved to 232 Fifth Avenue in Park

Slope. Shake Shack will cross the Manhattan Bridge next

year to 1 Old Fulton Street.
