KIT DESCRIPTION

Dear Colleagues,

Utilizing high-quality surgical instruments are paramount in achieving optimal successful surgical outcomes. Clinicians who are interested in performing procedures are fi nding it diffi cult to choose the appropriate kit out of the large selection available today.

Using my experience as a periodontist in conjunction with Hu-Friedy Mfg. Co., I had the opportunity to assemble instruments in a kit to perform basic surgical procedures.

In this brochure you will fi nd more detailed explanations about the insrtuments accompanied by surgical photographs.

Dr. Ilan Hirsh

completed his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry in 2002 and was awarded the Dean’s Excellent Graduate honor at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.

In 2007, Dr. Hirsh completed his training as a Specialist in Periodontology at the School of Graduate Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, Rambam Health Care Campus, Haifa, Israel.

In 2008 after passing the Periodontology board exams, he was awarded the certifi cate in Periodontology from the European Federation of Periodontology.

Following his professional training, Dr. Hirsh established a private practice in Haifa, specializing in periodontology and implantology.

Dr. Hirsh serves as a Senior Staff Periodontics Tutor, at the postgraduate program in Periodontology, School of Graduate Dentistry, Rambam Health campus, Haifa, Israel, where he practices periodontology and is involved in research and teaching.

Dr. Hirsh is a member of the Israeli Society of Periodontology and Osseo-integration and the European Federation of Periodontology.

PKN1 This elevator is designed with one rounded end and one pointed end for delicate tissue retraction to allow easy manipulation of papillae with little damage.

S204S9 These scalers allow debridement of soft tissue, removal of tenacious subgingival deposits and root planing.

PPR3S6 The Prichard elevator is used for reflecting and retracting flap following the incision. The round end enables atraumatic periostal flap elevation while the flat shaped end allows a delicate retraction of the soft tissue.
