Bleeding Heart owns the acclaimed New Zealand vineyard Trinity Hill in Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of the North

Island, in partnership with top New Zealand winemaker John Hancock. Named as one of New Zealand"s Top 10

wineries in Decanter Magazine earlier this year, Trinity Hill has gained a worldwide reputation for its wines, especially

the reds from its Gimblett Gravels estate. Five of our wines have gained more than 90 points in Robert Parker"s seminal

Wine Advocate Magazine: the Homage Syrah was the first New Zealand red to win a stunning 95 points. As well as

Tempranillo is a red grape variety grown in many parts of Spain. It is perhaps best known in the making of

the famous wines of Rioja. The wine shows attractive brambly, blackberry-like ripe fruits along with spicy and

exotic complexity. The palate is rich and textural with salivating soft tannins. Licorice, chocolate and

sarsaparilla flavours linger on the finish. This wine will age extremely well for at least five years but equally

can be drunk in its youth. Red meat or pork would be an ideal match along with traditional Tapas-style

dishes.

2010 Homage could well prove to be the strongest wine of the past decade. Comparisons can be made with

the stellar 2002 and 2006 Vintages. 2010 produced a wine that is very powerful and still elegant and fragrant.

A very dense purple colour leads to elements of complex red fruits on the nose. Blackberry and cassis meld
