Run the RaceSeveral times throughout his communication with the early

Church, Paul refers to the life lived by faith as a race. He

continually encourages Christians to run with endurance, to

throw off the sin that weighs them down, and to keep their eyes

on the prize, which is reward of faitheternal life.

Paul exhorts with these words, Do you not know that in a race

all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that

you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all

things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an

imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one

beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under

control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be

disqualified. (1 Corinthians 9.24-27)

Set your eyes on Jesus Christ, and run the race of faith. The

prize is truly priceless.

Join us as we celebrate Gordon Stedjans call to the office of

Elder at Bethel. This is a time of rejoicing as God has added

his specific gifts to the leadership of our congregation.

Regional Pastor Warren Geraghty will be joining us for our

morning service to preach and officiate the ordination.

The Hilllcrest Lutheran Academy band will be visiting

and sharing their talents with us during their Easter

Good Friday ServiceApril 6, 2012 @ 7:30pm

This evening will be a quiet time of reflection on the life

and death of Jesus Christ who gave His life for yours

on the cross.

Communion will be served.

Easter Morning Breakfast & ServiceApril 8, 2012 @ 9:30am (Breakfast) & 11:00am (Service)

Come celebrate the risen Savior Jesus Christ who

walked out of the grave to give you eternal life.

The Sunday School will be hosting a pre-service
