"With maintenance and operations at the heart of interest at AOG 2018, the
show was a complete success for us, allowing us to interact with virtually
every one of our key accounts, alongside several key prospects currently
looking for solutions to minimise costs and drive effi eciencies through
technology. We were even able to deliver an immediate order…which we
handed to the client the following day when he revisited the show."

NEW Energy Zone
New in 2019, a dedicated ‘New
Energy Zone’ will be added to the
AOG Exhibition floor to reflect visitor
interest in this growing industry sector.
The New Energy Zone will feature
products, technology and services
relating to:
NEW ENERGYReflecting the industry’s movement towards
cleaner, more effi cient energy sources and
technology, AOG 2019 will introduce a focus
on ‘New Energy’, specifi cally renewables,
remote power generation and alternatives to
traditional energy sources.
By representing the transitioning energy market AOG
will offer companies in this space the opportunity to put
their capabilities in front of the largest gathering of oil and gas
professionals in Australia.
AUSTRALIA’S SUBSEA DESTINATIONFor over ten years, AOG has been the largest Subsea
event in the oil and gas industry with thousands of
senior subsea decision makers and thought leaders
in attendance. With some major projects currently in
concept development or FEED stage including Barossa
(ConocoPhilips), Wheatstone Stage 2 (Chevron),
Scarborough (Woodside) and Crux (Shell), the subsea
industry has truly turned a corner and is entering a period
of sustained growth.
AOG 2019 will again be the pre-eminent event for subsea
professionals in Australia. In addition to a prominent
exhibition zone, the free-to-attend Subsea Forum will
feature over 40 free-to-attend presentations from
leaders at Wood, Technip and Woodside.
Australian Subsea Pavilion
Launching in 2019, the Australian Subsea Pavilion will
serve as a meeting place for the subsea industry,
presenting the latest technology, innovations and service
solutions to fully showcase the capabilities of the
Australian subsea industry.
The Pavilion, presented in partnership with Subsea
Energy Australia (SEA), provides businesses with a low-
cost opportunity to promote their products and services
within a specialised zone, attracting key subsea industry
leaders and decision makers.
ASSET INTEGRITY IN FOCUSThe market for asset management and integrity
technology and solution has grown exponentially in
recent years. This has resulted in a signifi cant increase
in annual spend on asset integrity with 20 operating LNG
trains and over 100 offshore fi xed and floating facilities.
AOG will be placing an increased focus on asset
integrity in 2019 to cater for increased visitor interest.
The Knowledge Forum will feature several specialised,
technical sessions focussing on asset management,
maintenance and testing, to compliment the latest
technology and service solutions on the exhibition floor.
Asset Integrity ZoneSupported by the Australian Institute for Non-
Destructive Testing (AINDT), Engineers Australia and the
Society for Petroleum Engineers, the new Asset Integrity
Zone will feature manufacturers and suppliers of non-
destructive testing, condition monitoring, diagnostic
engineering, or materials and quality testing, corrosion
prevention, protective coatings, and asset management
products services and technology
Global Energy markets are shifting
The focus on traditional fossil fuels is now
transitioning to cleaner, more effi cient
energy sources. Whilst fossil fuels will
undoubtedly remain a key component of
the Australian, and global, energy market
place, interest and investment of cleaner
energy sources, particularly renewables, is
growing at a signifi cant rate.
Clearly the energy landscape is changing.
AOG will fully embrace and reflect the
industries movement towards new and
alternative energies in 2019.
Insights from Industry Leaders
The Collaboration Forum will have a full
day dedicated to New Energy, led by our
key Forum Partners - NERA, Woodside,
Deloitte, Shell, Chevron and the WA
Government. The focus of this day will
be renewables for power generation
for gas processing facilities, remote
power generation (LNG and renewables),
alternate uses for LNG and hydrogen.
Similarly, both the Subsea (with a focus
on offshore renewable energy) and
Knowledge Forums will integrate the
theme of ‘New Energy’, working with key
industry associations and partners to
reflect the current trends and challenges
impacting the wider oil and gas industry.
