FACILITY INFORMATION . . . .

The Apparel Logistics Group designed this new distribution center to accomplish the following goals:

Create an automated materials handling system that would get the job done with the least number of touches and the lowest possible handling cost; and build strategically by locating the facility in an area that would complement the apparel industry’s need to better serve its customers across the country and improve its customer service levels with speed to market.

The 158,000 sq ft distribution center houses the company’s US headquarters in the North Dallas. This facility contains conveyors, tilt tray sortation, pick-to-light and a garment on hangar rail system to automate this exceptionally clean facility.

includes customer billing, collections, dispute resolution, credit management and cash application, accounts payable and general ledger account analysis.

BENEFITS OF A FOREIGN TRADE ZONE (FTZ)•Exempt from Ad Valorem Taxes

•Imports may be admitted and held in a foreign-trade zone without paying U.S. Customs duties until exiting the zone.

•Customs duties are never paid on merchandise exported from a zone.

•Duties are eliminated on materials subject to defect, damage, obsolescence, waste or scrap.

•Merchandise may be exported and returned to an FTZ without duty payment.

•Spare parts may be stored, returned, or destroyed without duty payment.

•Delays in Customs duty drawback are eliminated.

•Quality control inspections can identify sub-standard goods to be destroyed or returned without duty payment.
