ARTOVA neighbourhood development & cultural eventsneighbourhood development & cultural events

• The basic operations in the various activity groups, among others: Grants and strategy group, Communications group, City planning group, Urban farming committee...

• Yearly organized events: Arabian Street Festival, Artova Film Festival AFF, Artova Kino, Arabian Picnic, Kekrifest and Artova’s Living Advent Calendar.

• Artova projects and activities include: Artova Spirit, Arabia area art coordinator, Local democracy pilot, Arabia urban trails, Edible Arabia, Culture and neigbourhood journal Kuohu, Book campain, Arabia area entrepreneurs breakfast meetings and Confidence project.

• Artova is also involved in various projects of other partners.

• In 2012, only in Artova Spirit projects and events there were: a total of 107 persons in key roles (mainly voluntary people) and about 350 people participated in organizing. The number of partners was 89, including companies, associations, networks, public authorities and institutions.

• All of these projects and events had a self-iniated and self-directed group, making all decisions and carrying out concrete actions.

• Artova mainly coordinates and mentors.
