Weve invested over $886,000 back into the spirits community through the Cocktail Apprentice Program, various scholarship programs, educational grants and in-kind

contributions. Tales of the Cocktail is the most important educational platform in

the world of mixology, not just because it is the largest and the smoothest-running, but because it continues to innovate and

improve. We refuse to rest on our laurels. - Philip Duff,

Director of Education at Tales of the Cocktail

  • What makes a successful Tales of the Cocktail event?

We are first and foremost an educational event and your concept should be fresh and new!

Target the bartender and do not dumb it down.

Just a well made cocktail is not enough.

Your event description should highlight what the attendees will get to learn, taste, see, touch or do.

    Make it interesting!

Important questions to ask: Who and what will be there

that I cannot get anywhere else?

What will the attendee take away?

What hands-on activities are there, if any?

Is there a competition or special announcement?

Does the attendee get to try a new product?

Interesting and memorable can be accomplished without breaking your budget.
