Welcome to the festival!

We have a huge array of events for everyone to enjoy and fresh ideas to stimulate the mind. Take a stroll through our Festival Bazaar, relax with yoga, join in the debate at Schumacher College’s Wild Ideas tent, visit the Transition Town Totnes hub and find out how localism become a global phenomena, create your own soundscape for broadcast with Soundart Radio, or call into our kids’ corner to be entertained.

As Tagore himself taught, “The East and West must join hands in the pursuit of truth.” This years’ festival is a true celebration of this ideal, with thinkers and speakers from across the world coming together to question, explore and dream of a better world.

Rich with world class artists and set amongst the beautiful Dartington Hall estate, we hope this unique festival inspires you as much as it has me and the fantastic team who have helped bring this all together.

Jude Wright, Festival Producer
