2012 Enhancements
Ratings Module (Supplier and Customer Management)
Please note that this is an add-on module and must be purchased separately.
Scope:
Suppliers selling goods and services to customers doing business in quality-regulated environments
are only qualified to supply specific and approved products and services. Therefore, it is essential to
maintain and track the certification levels of each supplier and approved vendor lists. The Supplier
Management Module offers a user-friendly and comprehensive tool to summarize and score the
activity of each supplier from other uniPoint modules. Taking it one step further, you can even setup
approved suppliers per Customer, as your customers may dictate which of their approved suppliers
can be used.
Advantages:
Managing, tracking and rating your suppliers is simple with our Supplier Management Module.
Monitor supplier performance by leveraging our automated rating system. You can calculate a score
for your suppliers based on uniPoint NC's, Audits, Survey Results, CPA's and other user-definable
criteria. Ratings results below minimum threshold automatically update the supplier's approval
status and email the supplier manager for action steps.

2012.2.1 Enhancements
Training
Creating a new training revision now gives you the option to copy previous instructors. A
new option was also created
Corrected the following issues with the Trainee List Report:
o Changed the “Training Status” filter to “Trainee Status”
o Added a “Training Status” filter
o Added a group-box beside the print options with the following options:
Include hours
Include Costs
o Added Group and Report totals
Added a new option to the Recurring Training Report that “Excludes employees not currently
members of the Occupation”

2012.3.0 Enhancements
Inspection Record uniPoint is now FDA CFR Part 11 compliant with our Inspection modules. Please see the
enhancements below:
New Options and functionality:
Limit Inspection Reopen: Once an Inspection Record has been completed, only the
Manager, Inspector or System Admin can reopen it.
Require Notes on Inspection Reopen: When an inspection record changes from
Completed to any other status and this option is enabled, the user will receive a notes dialog.
Notes dialog is modal with an OK and CANCEL buttons. If the user cancels then status
reverts back to completed.
Log Attribute changes after first completion: After an Inspection has been completed
and then reopened, all changes made will be tracked in history.
Enable Inspection Specification Sign-Offs: Same functionality as before, we just changed
the name of the option.
Enable Inspection Record Sign-Offs: Enables Sign-Off functionality on the Inspection Record module.

Enhanced Delete Functionality We have increased our delete functionality in 2 ways.
1) New Option to Require Password on Record Deletion:
Now when a user hits the delete button, the following delete dialog box will appear:

2) The second way we have improved delete functionality is by creating a new security privilege
is user admin called “Create”:
If a User only has Create enabled for a module, they will not be able to delete the record.
However, they will still have enough privileges to create new records.

New Lock Feature
Due to the sensitive nature of information for some of our customers, we have introduced a Lock
feature. If users want to leave their workstation, they now have the ability to lock uniPoint. Only the user who locked uniPoint or a System Administrator can unlock uniPoint.
To use the lock & unlock feature, perform the following steps:
1) To lock uniPoint, click the lock button:

2012.3.2 Enhancements
Doc Control
The Manager dropdown field on the general tab now displays User Name along with User ID.
Help Files
You now have the ability to use CTRL+F and search through our help files.
Attachment Sub-reports
All reports where you include the Attachments sub-report, we now display the Attachment
Description General software enhancement
Whenever you are looking up a Supplier Management record (Attachments for example), we
now display the exact same search criteria that is found on the Supplier Management searcg
screen

Bug fixes from 2011.2.3 to 2012.2.0 Audit Meetings
Corrected an error if a user cleared out the meeting Start and End Times and tried to save
the Meeting
CPA
The Vendor/Supplier can no longer be changed if the CPA is set to a Status of Closed
Doc Control
Unmanaged Attachments now get copied properly when creating a New Rev of a document
The Name field on the Distribution tab is now properly displayed as a combo box when the
Type is Other
The incorrect warning message of: “Document could not be copied to the Temporary location”
no longer appears at incorrect times
We no longer allow Documents to be checked-in/out if the actual document on the file system
is open by yourself or another user Corrected a problem with the grouping on the Training Email screen
Inspections
Corrected an issue with Inspection Records taking a long time to open
Corrected an issue with the ANSI Inspection sampling rate on Inspection Records
Inspection Specifications no longer take a long time to load if there are many attributes defined
Integrations
We now integrate to the following ERP systems and versions:
o Made2Manage version 5.5.2
o Macola Progression SQL 7.7.600 Fixed leading line spaces issue in PO Lookup for our Finesse integration

PO Number is now displaying properly on the following search screens: o NC o NC Lookup o NC Template Lookup o NC Report

Material and Service costs no longer appear incorrectly on the Equipment Report
Corrected an issue with the Training Report so it displays the time properly in the search grid
Corrected issues with NC reports that were not excluding Templates properly
Requests
Added the extended description from Requests to emails
Tickets
Fixed an issue with Ticket detail items showing up incorrectly for recurring tickets
Corrected an issue where Templates were appearing as Past Due in Key Indicators
Resolved errors of when a past due ticket was opened Ticket Detail ToDo items are no longer created improperly
Tool Window Manager
Fixed an issue when trying to copy and create custom reports
Training
Fixed an issue with the Recurring Training report showing incorrect Next Dates

Corrected an error with the „Inspection Quantity – Failed‟ Trend Analysis report
User Admin
When deleting a User, we now delete the User/Manager Relationships properly
Fixed a bug in the Security Report, Permission lookup combo box
Fixed another bug with the Security Report that would make the uniPoint client become unresponsive when the report was run for All Users and All Group Permissions

Corrected an issue with a slow uniPoint login issue
Corrected Key Indicator called „O/S CPA Requests‟ so it no longer displays closed CPAs
Fixed a bug in Customer Service that allowed users to edit fields on the Origination tab when

Comp By and Comp Date now clear out properly when a Review is changed from Completed

Corrected the Doc lookup to only include one rev of a document in the History Report
Resolved an issue with history entries having blank values when a record was turned in to a Template

Entries are now made to history when:
o A record is created and not saved o A record is not saved and the delete button is clicked

Intuitive:
o Vendor lookup now displays all vendor ID‟s properly in the NC module
JobBOSS:
o We now display a proper error message during logon if the JobBOSS version is 11.3 or
higher and integration authentication is being used (JobBOSS has started to encrypt
their passwords and we can not authenticate properly any longer)
o Can now edit the GST/PST percentage Options for the Controllers toolkit
Syspro:
o The quantity column on the NC RMA report now displays decimal places properly

The Ratings Option screen now fits in 1024x768 resolution
Fixed vertical alignment issues with the URL in the Supplier Management report Risk & Supply fields now appear on the Supplier Management Report
Requests
No longer allows a Request ID to be manually entered in edit more and bypass security
A Request from a template now stamps:
o “Requested By” with the current user
o “Request Date” with today‟s date
Fixed an issue that would display “All required 'White' fields must be entered. Please ensure that these fields all have values.” Incorrectly
Surveys
After deleting a question, it now displays the correct question when you select the one below
that was just deleted

Ticket ToDo items have a field called “Ticket Due Date” instead of “Due Date”

We changed the Training filter to view all revisions for a TrainingID. We also added a Rev and status column:

Added validation for Choice Lists, Lookups and max length checks for alphanumeric fields
when importing records
The "%" symbol is now allowed ONLY for the "U of M" user code
When Inspections are imported, we now Trigger events such as auto emails for
measurements that reach the warning levels
Users can no longer open/edit an existing Inspection Record if they are not listed in security
for the related Inspection Spec

We now allow apostrophes as a valid email character in our email validation

Corrected a minor issue with the Maintenance Ticket Report. We added some line separators
to break up the data visually better
History entries are now made properly when a new Ticket is automatically created via
