Role Summary/Purpose This role encompassing all engineering disciplines with exposure to variouselectronic systems, products and technologies.

The Product Sustainment teams provide through-life expertise and support

for aviation products and components. They are the design authority and

product focal for design changes, improvements and obsolescence

resolution, and own and drive the design change process across a product

range.

Essential Responsibilities

As a Product Sustainment Engineer, you will provide hardware engineering

support to a range of products throughout their lifecycle. ou will wor!

within a team of engineers, resolving related engineering"design issues and

executing the design change process. ou will be expected to gain #esign

Authority for a number of the products you support.

& Technical ownership of a product range, including the creation and

maintenance of product portfolios and technical documentation

& 'wnership and generation of product health chec!s in support of tollgates

and other business reviews

& #eveloping solutions to technical problems, including design changes

& #eveloping product !nowledge in order to support design and process

improvements

& (mplementing customer specific change processes

& Ensuring compliance with mandatory regulations, standards and company

processes

& Provide assistance to manufacturing support engineering team members

with fault investigations

& #rive product improvement and cost reduction activity for your products

Qualifications/Requirements

& )ualification to *+# level or above in an electronic"electrical discipline oreuivalent experience

& Proven experience in an engineering role, ideally but not limited to

aerospace

& Proven ability to perform fault-finding tas!s down to component level

& ompetent in reading engineering drawings and good understanding of

configuration management

& Ability to deal and communicate with people at all levels

& A strong problem solver with an interest in engineering and technology

& Analytical, with a !een attention to detail

& A good team player who is capable of operating in a multi discipline

environment

& Strong organiational and communication s!ills

& Energetic and self-motivated, with an ability to self-manage tas!s and

priorities
