With Spring comes new growth! Right? Well, hopefully, that’s true in our lives as well. Although personal growth is not entirely up to us, we do have a responsibility to put ourselves in the best position for God’s Spirit to work. We can do that individually and corporately. So, I encourage you to spend time alone with God daily and to be involved in studies with other believers. Sundays and Wednesdays are a good time to do this.

Below is a brief listing of the new Wednesday Evening adult study groups that begin March 20. Full descriptions of these groups are available in the church foyer.

Everett Bobbie & Lewis Porter and family in the sudden loss of their 22-year old grandson, Graham Porter, who died on Feb. 19th in Charleston, SC.

The Family of Shirley Howell, who passed away on Feb. 19th at Georgetown Healthcare. Shirley was a member of OVBC since 1990 and had recently moved to Georgetown Healthcare due to her health.

Wes Gore and family in the loss of his mother, Minnie Gore, who passed away on Feb. 26th at her home in Loris, SC., at the age of 85. Her burial was near Tabor City, NC.
