Last weekend for the second year running the football team represented the North of England in the

national football finals held at Lilleshall and for the second year running the weather was absolutely

terrible. Sadly this year the dream was not to be realised as it was just one of those days where

nothing seemed to go right. Of course it was a great achievement simply to get that far and we are all

    tremendously proud of the team.

The Year 2 children had a fantastic time at Tattenhall this week taking part in a wide range of

activities. As a group of children they were an absolute pleasure to take away, with impeccable

behaviour and huge levels of enthusiasm. They also slept really well which is always a bonus! Some

picture below and we will organise for the Y2 parents to come in and view the slideshow soon.

We are really pleased that we have successfully submitted a bid for 10000 to the Big Lottery fund to

build a new adventure trail outside the Robins classroom. The PTA have also contributed nearly 2000

towards the cost of the trail. This has been designed by Mrs Lewis and her team, with early years

specifically in mind and will help our youngest children develop their gross motor skills as well as being

available for all the Key Stage 1 children to use at playtimes. The installation is due to start on

Thursday 2 July and should be completed by the following week.
