• Summer 1965- Idea of Subway.• Later 1965- First Subway was built.• 1974- Had opened up 16 Subway shops in Connecticut.• Later 1974- Decided to expand Subway out of the

state.• 1974 through present- Have expanded greatly in just

about every state and some shops in other countries.• 2008- 30,000 restaurants in 87 countries 43rd year of
