Essential Question(s): Instruct physical, cultural, and economic characteristics of Sub Saharan Africa; guide students to become independent thinkers; illustrate effects of colonization; compare/contrast economic, physical and cultural habits in western and eastern regions. Materials Note: Each day until SOL examinations, students will have SOL aligned Questions as DO-NOW activities. Remarks: Welcome to the “home stretch”—Fourth 9 weeks. 2. Inform, motivate students that the EOC testing will be in 5 weeks. 3. Every day for next 5 weeks—Do Now are Review questions for SOL. 4. Continue with study of remaining units before testing: Sub Sahara Africa, Asia, and Europe (We have a lot of work to accomplish). 1.
