THANK GOD FOR PRAYER
Praise the Lord for the power of “PRAYER”! Many of you came to “The Prayer Connection” this past Sunday evening. God showed up! It was wonderful. The Lord always blesses His People with His presence when we seek Him through prayer. Our next “Prayer Connection” will be Sunday evening September 16, 5:00 PM. (Prayer Emphasis Areas: 1. Africa 2. UM Clergy 3. Sharing Christ Ministries 4. Agreement for – Healing, Salvation, and Economy) Charles Spurgeon said, “If God be near a church, it must pray…” Come join the “Fellowship of Believers” as we listen and have conversation with our Lord together.
THANK GOD FOR TEACHERS This Sunday is “Elevation Sunday”. Many of our students will be moving up
to a new class room and to a new teacher. We want to recognize all of our teachers, assistants, and leaders in both worship services. Teachers, assistants and leaders give of their heart and time to share the Word of God, create fellowship and promote discipleship. Teachers and leaders have a tremendous responsibility, opportunity and challenge to share Jesus Christ with students of all ages. We will honor our teachers, assistants, and leaders by speaking a blessing and a word of thanksgiving over them. We are truly grateful for the concern, love, and grace you give to all of those you minister to. Thank you for caring for His church and His people.
