Maryvale seventh graders immersed themselves in their Life Science curriculum as they collected and examined oysters on the Chesapeake Bay as part of All-School Field Trip Day. The Maryvale community will welcome Richard Guerry this Monday, Nov. 13 for his renowned presentation on cyber safety, “Public & Permanent.” All students will attend this important assembly at 1:45 p.m. An encore presentation will take place for parents from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. in the Castle Great Hall. If you have not done so already, please RSVP here . Uniform Update : Beginning this Monday, Nov. 13, Uggs and Ugg-like boots in brown, black or grey may be worn in lieu of the uniform boat shoe. Students also are expected to wear blazers all day. Further, please check the length of your daughters’ skirt. Middle School parent-teacher conferences continue on Monday, Nov. 13. Ifyou scheduled an appointment, you will find the teachers in their MiddleSchool or Castle classrooms, or their offices. Only two days away! The Father-Daughter Dinner Dance is this Sunday,Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. at the Valley Mansion in Cockeysville. Advanced ticket saleshave closed, but families interested in attending may pay at the door. The senior class is hosting a post-prom fundraiser this Sunday, Nov. 12 fromnoon – 2 p.m. at the home of the Shaffrey family (6 Old Manor Court,Reisterstown, MD).
