NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL, Kengeri, Bengaluru REPORT ON GRANDPARENTS DAY We took this opportunity to express the love and respect towards the elderly people in the society and also to model this culture in children. We had organized Grand Parentsday which was celebrated on 29-09-2016 in the School Auditorium. The Grand Parents fraternity had fled in from across the country to grace this occasion. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by Hon’ble Guest Mrs. Shylaja Somanna, Chairperson Mr. Avinash H.E. and Principal Mrs. Geeta Dikshit. Mythological theme based on “The Advent of Lord Krishna” was chosen to encourage our children to imbibe in them traditions and values. Our boys of Montessori and Nursery were decked up as little Krishnas and girls as Gorgeous Gopikas. Each section of this level depicted the greatness of Lord Krishna by enacting to the different antics of the Omnipotent as Balakrishna, Kalinga Mardana and Govardhana Giridhaari. Our Kindergarten children anchored the program flawlessly. This mesmerizing show came to a close with the portray of Lord Krishna’s 10 different incarnations – Dashavathara! It was an incredible moment for the Grand Parents to witness the synchronization of talent and tradition of their Grandchildren. The audience hugely appreciated and responded overwhelmingly towards this unique initiative taken by the school faculty.

REPORT ON GRANDPARENTS DAY

We took this opportunity to express the love and respect towards

the elderly people in the society and also to model this culture in

children. We had organized Grand Parents’ day which was celebrated

on 29-09-2016 in the School Auditorium.

The Grand Parents fraternity had fled in from across the country to

grace this occasion. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by
