Driving Question: Based on our study of grade 2 level storybooks, can your group (of 4) produce a children’s storybook for seven year olds? Individual deconstructing a grade 2 story (worksheet) We used Bernstein Bears stories to study character, a problem, humorous events arising, and the solution, -individual story drafts. Each student produces a rough plot to present to their group. -peer editing, -feedback notes when piloting on some grade 2 students, -final reflection. Audience: Grade 2 classes, presentation to parents in the library. (summative assessment)
