STORYBOARD PROTOTYPE What do I

do?

Undergraduate Students

1. Students will attend the mandatory face-to-face orientation meeting. There will be a Digital Media Department presentation in Adobe Captivate. Students will receive a printed brochure with the Portfolio Review Acceptance process explanation. Completed with Adobe InDesign software. Also available online.

Face-to-Face Orientation Meeting

Portfolio Review Acceptance 1. Register for lower division 1000 and 2000 level digital

media courses. Obtain B- grades or higher. 2. Compile a digital portfolio. This will be copies of your

work on each project in your lower division courses. Examples are: http://leannlarsen.com/Portfolio/Portfolio.html http://mahara.org/

3. Write a letter of intent and turn both the portfolio and letter into the Digital Media Department for review. This will be your application for the program.

4. After you have been accepted into the program, you will be able to enroll in upper division 3000 and 4000 level courses to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree.

3. Click on the Portfolio Review button and read the Introduction, Overview, and Explanation of the Portfolio

Review Acceptance process.

Click on the Overview and Explanation link to review the program with a Photostory. (To be completed) (This has not been developed yet)

4. Click on the Tutorial button to begin the

Adobe Captivate presentation which includes an evaluation and survey at the end. The evaluation will be scored and the survey results will be provided for department review. This page will begin the captivate presentation.

button to review the degree emphasis flowcharts showing all the courses required in each area.

Click on the degree emphasis you are interested in to see the requirements.

7. Schedule an appointment to visit with your academic advisor. When you meet with them, they will help your plan your classes in the Wolverine Track Planner located on UVLink.
