Store Locator

Extension for Magento 2 by Ideo

User Guide


How to install • Download the latest zip file from Magento Marketplace. • Copy content of zip file to magento_dir/app/code/Ideo/StoreLocator directory. • After that, run following commands.

php bin/magento setup:upgrade php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy php bin/magento cache:clean

How to use 1. Configuration

You need to use your own google maps api key.

◦ Go to https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key and get your own key

◦ Then insert it in Stores > Configuration > Ideo Extensions > Store Locator > Google Api Key „Frontend Key” and „Backend Key” fields.

You can set „Group Stores By” option to group stores on frontend results list.


Before adding a new Store, you need to add Category. To do that, go to Content > Categories > Add New Category

Now you can add new Store Go to Content > Stores > Add New Store


If you entered valid address in „General Informations” tab, your store will be automatically localized on a map after clicking on „Find Address On Map” button. You can also precisely set location of your store by drag and drop marker on a map.
