August 2015 – Present

From Engenda Manufacturing, I have been working freelance working for agencies on temporary contracts. Roles included auditing, righting risk assessments and method statements, righting COSHH assessments. Supervising workers and ordering materials.These roles where carried out on Jaguar/Landrover Halewood and for Colbus on a new build construction of a plastics factory.

Engenda Group – Jan 2013 – July 2015.Health & Safety Adviser - Reviewed previously neglected workshop to improve the health and safety culture of the workshop. This involved writing risk assessments and method statements, implementing safe working procedures such as confined space, working at heights and many others, regular auditing and providing the workforce tool box talks. I also carried out fully evidenced accident investigations, completing reports backed up with Fault tree analysis and issued corrective measures to key members of management. I Chaired monthly Health and safety meeting involving management and the managing director, from which actions were identified for which I set timescales for completion and allocated responsibilities. I also held responsibility for compiling a training matrix for personnel needs and organised as well as providing GAP analysis for managements. I currently cover a number of sites in the north west region which vary from construction, to top tear chemical sites. This involves regular auditing, tool box talks and reporting to the director on a monthly basis. Also accident investigations and liaising with principal contractors on a weekly basis. Whilst working for the Engenda group I have completed my diploma and was trained as a trainer to present “Safe Start” safety program to Engenda personnel. Engenda Group – October 2012 – November 2012Confined Space Technician - Worked alongside the Reg 7 Co-Ordinator on the Ineos Chlor shutdown. The role included preparing confined spaces for entry by various personnel including welders, pipe fitters, inspectors and management, equipment set up included breathing apparatus and lighting, and organising compressors, generators and heaters.Wild Goose Construction – May 2012 – September 2012Telehandler Driver – Undertook Telehandler duties alongside opening and setting the site up for trades to commence work. due to the closure of the warehouse.

InterestsMy main leisure interest is Scuba Diving, through the club I attend I have done various certificated courses and had the opportunity to travel to some exotic locations to dive. I regularly attend the gym, I also enjoy running and swim often as well.
