Welcome!We welcome Ann Trowbridge Bailes, who joined onFebruary 7 on the transfer of her membership fromTrinity United Methodist Church in Clover, SC. Di-ane Simpson has been assigned to serve as her dea-con. Ann is the daughter of Claire Trowbridge.
Heart for Monroe is a nonprofit organizationthat unites and mobilizes churches, commu-nity organizations, and individuals to ad-dress homelessness, hunger, education, andrelationships in our community. They aresponsoring a 5k run/walk on Saturday,March 19 beginning at 8:00 am in down-town Monroe. The race is open to all ages.The registration fees collected will go direct-ly to provide Title 1 schools in Union Countywith essential items they could not other-wise afford. The registration fees are: $25for students/teachers, $30 for individuals, or$25 to donate a race package for a Title 1student. Registration forms are available inthe church office.
