RITE OF CHRISTIAN INIATION OF ADULTS (RCIA) In celebrating this month of Our Lady’s final journey to God in her glorious Assumption, let us ask her motherly intercession to draw souls to the Sacred Heart of her Son. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey too – a journey of conversion to

God and what He intends for us. RCIA is the step of the journey taken by persons who are not baptized, or were baptized in another Christian tradition, to become fully participating members of our Catholic Church. Are you interested in the Catholic Faith? Are you in-terested in becoming Catholic to fully partake of the celebration of Mass? Are you Catholic but perhaps in need of one of your Sacraments of Initiation? Our new year of RCIA will be starting in September. For more information, please contact Melinda at the Parish Of-fice. (830)460-4712 or [email protected]
