Thesis:

• Because God’s purposes are all accomplished by his own strength through grace, he will fulfill his original promises to Israel someday.

Definition:

• Wot means to know something; to be aware.

• The Old Testament stories are designed to give you pictures that illustrate New Testament truth.

Definition:

• Grace is God doing for you that which he does not have to do, and that which should produce rejoicing in you because he did it anyway.

• The lost have been hardened by what they were doing to gain God’s favor, and that has shut them out from seeing God’s grace.

• If a person rejects grace, then he or she will be hardened by going his opposing way.

• A recompense is an equivalent reward for anything given, done, or suffered.

1.) God used her own table of fellowship to repay Israel by snaring her, because she crucified her Messiah

• Our God is so big he can give you a free will, and then take control of your decisions, because his providence has eyes and reacts to your actions.

• Jews are now being re-separated from the Gentile nations and assembled in Israel so they can start seeking God again.

• Our sins are taken away at a crisis (getting saved) that results in a process (sanctification, but in the future the Jews sins will be taken away in a process (the Tribulation) that results in a crisis (their salvation).

Point 15.

• When you live a disobedient life, you delay the blessing but you do not cancel the promise.

Corollary:

• It is obedience that makes blessings happen when they are supposed to happen so you don't lose precious time waiting for them to happen.

Point 16.

• Your best chance for what you want is to stay in the way of obedience.

Point 17.

• Bible doctrine isn't designed just for categories in your brain, or divisions in your systematic theology; it is designed to ignite a new seriousness for God!
