AP DAYAP DAY is a lunch event that the auckland business chamber has been honoured to host for more than 15 years.

Once known as secretary day, it was established to recognise and celebrate the contributions of administrative personnel to business, to support their personal development and help attract workers to the administrative area.

It has been rebranded to AP DAY (administrative personnel) to the wider group of workers who deserve to be celebrated for their hard work, determination and commitment to business: Roles such as executive assistants, personal assistants, legal administrators, administration and off ice managers, receptionists, call centre operators, front line staff, accounts staff and industry trainers etc.

The messaging around the day is all about inspiration, creativity and entertainment.

The ‘themed’ guest speakers, along with the goodie bags and prize draws all contribute to this message, and making the occasion an extremely popular event for up to 500 attendees.

The theme for AP DAY 2019 is THE GREATEST SHOW.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SPONSORSHIPIT IS AGREED THAT:1. The full term of the agreement is from the date of this document to august 20192. Auckland business chamber will deliver to the sponsor the sponsorship as set out in this proposal for the ap day3. Payments will be made as follows: auckland business chamber will invoice the sponsor for the amounts due under this agreement and including such additional information as may be required under law or new zealand tax

guidelines to qualify as a tax invoice for the purpose of gst.4. Auckland business chamber will design, manage and generally take responsibility for the public promotion, operation and delivery of the ap day, as part of its overall business activities. Auckland business chamber agrees

that all acknowledgements of the sponsor in the promotion of the ap day will conform to the reasonable policy, brand guidelines and instructions provided by the sponsor. The sponsor will provide the auckland business chamber with all relevant materials and guide lines as required.

5. The parties acknowledge that each party’s name and logo is the property of that party and that either party must not use the other party’s name and logo without prior written consent of that party. Signing of the sponsorship proposal constitutes the sponsor’s consent for the auckland business chamber to use their logo in promotion of the ap day, as outlined in the sponsorship proposal.

6. The sponsor is given right of sponsorship renewal for the ap day 2019.7. Either party may terminate this agreement with immediate effect: A. If the other party breaches any of the terms of this agreement and fails to remedy the breach within fourteen (14) days after receiving written notice requiring to do so; or B. If either party goes into liquidation. Is wound up, dissolved (except for the purpose of reconstruction or amalgamation). Enters into a scheme of arrangement or is placed under management or in receivership,

in which case the other party may terminate the agreement by giving fourteen (14) days written notice of their intention to terminate under the clause. C. Ifeitherparty,inthereasonableopinionoftheotherpartycomesintogeneraldisreputeoristhesubjectofcriticismthatmayadverselyreflectontheotherparty, orifthereisanysignificantdiminishmentofintegrity,professionalismorreputationofeitherparty,thentheotherpartymayterminatethisagreementbygivingthirty(30)dayswrittennoticetotheotherparty.

8. Uponterminationofthisagreementforanyreason,eachpartywill,attherequestoftheotherparty,returnanysponsorshipmaterials,advertisingmaterials,confidentialbusinessmaterialsorothersensitivematerials to the owner of the materials.

9. Nothing contained or implying this agreement constitutes a party, the partner, agent or legal representative of the other party for any purpose, or creates any partnership, employment agency or trust. Neither party has any authority to bind the other party in any way.

10. A party many not assign its rights under this agreement without the prior written consent of the other party.
