Achievements in motorsport In 2012 Yannik Brandt started with karting and since then there is no way to stop him. He finished his second season in the Swiss Rotax Max Challenge in third place and he improved even more in the following season. Yannik won all of the six races in the championship and he celebrated his first championship title in his young racing career. In addition he qualified for the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in Valencia where he represented Switzerland in the Junior Class. In 2015 he moved up to the highest class in karting, the DD2 category and in parallel he runs his first tests in a Formula 4 racing car. Yannik will participate in the ADAC Formula 4 Championship in 2016 with Lechner Racing and his aim is to capture a seat in a Formula 1 team four years later. 2015 Vice-Champion in the Swiss Rotax Max Challenge, category DD2 Participation in the BNL ((Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg) Kart Opening Event in Genk, Belgium

The F4 Team Lechner Racing, based in Salzburg, has been active in motorsports for more than 40 years. The Team has celebrated many big achievements in different series over many years. Currently it is very successful in the Porsche Supercup series, in which the team has won the championship five times already. Next to the racing career, Lechner Racing has very successfully built up it’s own racing school. Currently it is regarded as one of the most successful motorsport-schools in the world. The team competes in the Formula 4 series with two cars and therefore continues it’s great young drivers work in one of the toughest race-series in the world. Testing in 2015 Yannik is the official test driver for the Lechner Racing Team and participates in most of the test days of the ADAC Formula 4. It is very important for him to become familiar with the racing car and the tracks and to learn how to work with the team in a most efficient way.
