an interactive data wall that allows individuals to select a color to represent
their mood. their color then gets added to the existing web of colors from other
users, contributing to the spirit web. this instillation benefits the community be-
cause it tracks over all moods and trends. this instillation could help to make
an happier community.

Reflection : sPIr IT WEB
I was very excited to start this project because it offered me an opportunity to think
in different way. I appreciated the way we chose our topic because it offered a way
to broaden our thinking and discover something outside the box. It was interesting
designing something that didn’t have to “solve a problem” because as designers we
are constantly trying to fix things. It was nice to think of something in pure visual
form, but have a lot of research to back it up. I had trouble creating visuals for the
first few steps of the project because I wasn’t sure how I wanted to represent all the
data obtained by the users. When I finally figured out I wanted it to be in a web form
things really clicked. In the end I am very happy with how the project turned out
visually and I think it would be really cool if it could actually be made.
