    Sorcerer and Warlock Spells: Augury

    Augury is the occult science of divination and the control of otherworldly forces. It allows the discovery of information through extra-sensory perception, the control of space, time and portals, and the conjuration of invisible forces and extra-dimensional creatures toaffect the physical world.

    disorientation for d4 rounds.

    thoughts there. Rock or lead2'+ blocks.

    Jade Globe ofRevelation R60 D1T/lvl Conjures green light globe, 20'radius. Gives off light as atorch. Magic and invisibilityinside it glow. Can be cast on

    fixed point or object.

    Lesser Globe ofInvulnerability D1R/lvl Immobile shimmering 10'diameter sphere surroundscaster and excludes all spelleffects of level 3 or less,

    including area effects. Spelleffects can be cast throughsphere or from inside it. Doesnot affect spells already ineffect. Can be dispelled.

    The Mercurial Barrierof Sirius D1R/lvl R10/lvl Creates floatingsemitransparent barrierbetween caster and oneopponent. Barrier stays

    between them regardless ofeach one's actions. Barrier hashp = caster maximum hp, AC11. Can be pushed through atone third speed.

    hear out, but fuzzy.

    hold 7 human-sized. Creaturesmay enter/exit, spell ends ifcaster leaves. Protects fromenvironment but not creaturesor attacks. Caster can lightdimly at will. Opaque greyoutside, almost transparentinside.

    Call to the ElementalPlanes R240 Summonsan elemental of 12HD. Forduration, caster must

    concentrate and only moveshalf speed. May banish it whileconcentrating. Can be dispelledby magic. If caster losesconcentration, elementalattacks him and all control islost. AC 16, dmg 2d8, Save 4+

    Attack +9, additional rules.

    The Perfected Field ofSirius D1T+1R/lvl R30 Creates invisible, immobile wallof force that defies physical

    penetration. Immune todamage and most spellsincluding dispels. Can bedisintegrated. On casting canbe a sphere or hemisphereinstead, area 20' square perlevel.

    6 Lesser Summoning ofLight (reversible) D12TR120 - Provides light from anobject, 15' radius. Can blind anenemy for 12 turns, Savenegates.

    Greater Summoning ofLight- (Reversible) R120 -Provides light from an object,Diameter 60. Living targetsmay Save. Reverse cannot bepenetrated by light.

    Sign of MagickalLiberation (aka DispelMagic) R120 Spelleffects in 20' cube negated. Ifdispeller lvl is < magic's causer,5% chance per lvl difference offailure.

    Beseechment of theElemental Spirit D1TR120 Awakensenvironmental spirit. Can onlyconverse for duration.

    Telecanter'sTelekinesis D6R R120 By concentration caster canmove objects or creatures.Move 20 lbs per lvl, 20' around. Creatures may save toignore.

    Disc D6T R6 Createstransparent dish of force thatfollows caster. 3 ft diameter, 1inch deep in middle. Holds 500lbs or 2 gallons. Floats 1 meterin air, remains level.

    Sphere of the Void

    D1T+1R/lvl R10/lvl Creates15' radius ball of darknesscentred anywhere in range.Completely nullifies all visionthat allows sight in darkness,like infravision. Dispellable byLight Summoning.

Guardian can bedispelled but not attacked. Itvanishes if caster goes beyond30'.

    8 Quaal's GalvanicDistortion D1R R10/lvl Target falls slowly as a feather.Requires initiative to be withcaster. Direct missiles and

    flying creatures unaffected.

    Quaal's GalvanicLadder D6T+lvl Castermentally levitates up or down,up to 20' per round. Cannotactively move horizontally but

    can push against surfaces todo this.

    Nolzur's SensoryDisplacement D12TR60 Links caster withcreature's eyes and ears inrange, taking 1 turn to link and

    sense; so could move betweencreatures every turn. Blockedby lead or rock 2'+.

    Invulnerable Field ofSirius D1R/2lvls Makestarget immune to non-magicalattacks. Monsters of 4+ HD orthose that are only fully

    affected by magic attacksignore.

    Cosmic Seal ofTransference R10 Teleports one being anydistance to a known destinationon same plane. Unwilling victim

    may save to ignore. Destinationvery familiar: no danger;Studied carefully: 2/10 chanceof death; Casual knowledge:4/10 chance of death. If deathresults, may save for halfcurrent hp loss instead.

    Revelation of BestialSpeech D6T R30 Affectsnormal and giant animals,allows speech with them. Mustbe specific animal; friendlinessnot a sure thing.

    Telecanter'sCeleritous Relocation

    D1R/lvl Caster teleports 2'using ethereal plane, inrandom direction. If solidmatter in the way, move intoopen space 10' away max (ifarea totally blocked, trapped onethereal plane). In combat, ifcaster has initiative, cannot beattacked (unless an area attackhits both locations). Can meleeattack while blinking, all otheractions fail on 3 in 4.

    Coils of the Void R40D1R/lvl Almost invisibletendrils surround target, hittingon 14/20. Target must save orbe entangled and useless. Ifsuccessful, can act but all rolls-2 and half speed. Either wayreceive d6 damage per round.Large creatures auto-passsave. Caster may switchdamage on and off. Tendrilsimmune to weapons but can bedispelled.

    Quaal's Etheric ChestD60days Can hide a chest inthe ethereal plane and retrieveat will. Chest is 3x2x2 but holds1 cubic foot per level. Chestcosts 5000 gp to craft andrequires mini replica. Only onecan exist at a time. Beyondduration, if chest still hidden,1/20 chance per day destroyed,cumulative. If replica destroyed,chest is too.

    10 Impermeable Shield ofSirius D2T Invisible forcefield around caster. AC 18 vsrange attacks, AC 16 vs meleeattacks.

    Voice of the Void R60 Loud fearful noise destroysdelicate and brittle objects, maxweight 10 lbs per level. Itemsmay save 50/50 to survive.

    Greater Seal ofSilence D12T R180 Nonoise from within 15' radiusarea but outside noisepenetrates. Can be case in apoint in space. Target maySave, success means spelllands in space and they canleave.

    Augur of InscrutableSpheres Sends mind toother planes to question thepowers. They answer withsingle words like 'yes' 'no'irrelevant' 'maybe' 'never'.Caster concentrates; 1question and answer per round.Caster decides on number ofquestions (12 max),probabilities follow this pattern:3 questions (75% answerunknown, 50% truthful, 5%caster insanity) 4 questions(70% answer unknown, 55%truthful, 10% caster insanity) .

    Severe insanity lasts weeks =number of questions.
