SPE Aberdeen Well Late Life and Well Abandonment Conference 27 & 28 June 2018, AECC“Managing Late Life Wells to Maximise Value & Optimise Abandonment”

The SPE Late Well Life and Abandonment Conference, sponsored by Well-Safe Solutions, is focused on maximising recovery from late-life wells, planning for abandonment, optimising abandonment operations and formulating what is required for post-abandonment monitoring. The conference, which is in its 8th year, will benefit from bringing together those specialising in the areas of production optimisation, well integrity and those focused on abandonment operations from major operators, service companies and regulators.

The workshop will promote the sharing of innovative practices in these areas and promote collaboration across the spectrum of late-life production and well abandonment. Emphasis will be placed on best practice for maximising recovery, planning for abandonment and innovative abandonment solutions.

Attendees will hear about the latest updates to the OGUK Well Integrity and Well Abandonment Guidelines and ongoing work in production stewardship. Representatives of regulators and operator practitioners will provide clarification of guidelines, with discussion sessions to address issues and concerns. Active participation is expected.

We would like to hear value demonstrations and case histories and are now inviting 200 word abstracts to build a strong technical programme from which we will select a series of 20 minute presentations on themes including, but not limited to:

EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES (ONLY 12 STANDS AVAILABLE)

The Conference will incorporate an industry led exhibition which will run alongside the main technical presentations. There will be ample opportunity for maximum interaction between exhibitors and delegates during the registration period, coffee breaks, lunch break and networking reception.

• A basic exhibition space (approx. 3m wide x 2m deep) is suitable for a pop-up portable display stand or table top display. Two or more adjacent units can be combined to make a larger space

• A floor plan for the exhibition will be distributed nearer the event date.
