According to reports, Mullins told investigators that, having completed her shift at the facility, she went to a nearby truck stop. She returned to the nurs- ing home a few hours later, entering via a shower room window. She ordered a worker to give her medications. During the incident, Mullins is said to have worn a clown mask and spoke with an accent. The Putnam inci- dent is under the remit of the Putnam Magistrate Court. The West Hamlin bank robbery yielded around $3,000 in cash. Wearing a ski cap, black jeans and a hoodie, Mullins is said to have entered the bank shortly before 1 p.m., Tuesday. She ordered bank employees and customers to the ground, while waving a black pistol. She then pointed the gun at a teller and demanded the cash. A witness rec- ognized the truck parked in front of the bank as Mullins’. According to U.S. Magistrate Mary Stanley, Mullins tested positive for oxycodone and morphine. Mullins is said to have told probation personnel that she had taken more than 50 Ativan, an anxiety medicine, in a sui- cide attempt, early last week. A preliminary hearing was due to be held today, Wednesday, May 30, in U.S. Magistrate Court. Mullins remains in the South Central Regional Jail.
