1 Photovoltaic (PV) PanelsTo convert light energy into electricity in the form of DC current.

2 Adjustable Array StructurePV array tilt is easily adjustable from 30-60 degrees to maximize solar energy.

3 Control CentreThe control enclosure for housing the power distribution components (DC Controller/distribution, inverter and AC distribution), disconnects the system monitor and appropriate wire terminals. Enclosure is provided with rainproof vents and a ground fault protected electrical outlet. Optional remote monitoring equipment is available.

4 Inverter/Battery ChargerMicroprocessor-controlled and sine wave inverter with temperature-compensated battery charger.

5 DC ControllerSolar charge control with battery temperature compensation and automatic night time disconnect.

6 AC Distribution PanelOutput AC breaker panel provides surge protection and flexibility for multiple AC load requirements.

10 Battery EnclosureSealed batteries are housed in a powder-coated steel, lockable enclosure with filtered vents. Flooded batteries are housed in an insulated, vented thermoplastic unit with lockable lid and drain plug. Designed to minimize battery temperature extremes, eliminate battery bank hot spots, prevent freezing and extend useful battery life.

Array Junction BoxArray Junction Box is meant for combining all the incoming lines from the solar panel strings/arrays and deriving one common array output for the multiple array inputs.

Rittal SolutionsRittal PK Series Poly Carbonate boxes are exclusively available for this application with transparent & plain window and quick fit screws. Polyamide Gland with different sizes are available. Conforms 25 years Product Life Cycle IP66.

Charge Controllers A charge controller regulates the voltage and current coming from your solar panels to your batteries.

Rittal SolutionsRittal EB Series Enclosures are available with special pure polyester powder coating suitable to mount in outdoor applications & also protect from direct sunlight, rusting & corrosion. Junction boxes are available in IP66 Protection category.

Battery EnclosureSealed batteries are housed in the enclosure. Flooded batteries are housed in lockable enclosure designed to minimize battery temperature extremes, eliminate battery bank hot spots, prevent freezing and extend.

Rittal SolutionsRittal PS Series Enclosures are provided with heavy duty shelf to sustain the load of the battery. Enclosure Finish - RAL7035, Protection - IP54, Indoor. Also comes with IP54 Fan-Filters on the sides of Enclosures for better heat dissipation.

In Solar Thermal Power Plant- power towers (alsoknown as 'central tower' power plants or 'heliostat' power plants) capture and focus the sun's thermal energy with thousands of tracking mirrors (called heliostats) in roughly a two square mile field. A tower resides in the centre of the heliostat field. The heliostats focus concentrated sunlight on a receiver which sits on top of the tower. Within the receiver the concentrated sunlight heats molten salt to over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. The heated molten salt then flows into a thermal storage tank where it is stored, maintaining 98% thermal efficiency, and eventually pumped to a steam generator. The steam drives a standard turbine to generate electricity. This process, also known as the "Rankine cycle" is similar to a standard coal-fired power plant, except it is fueled by clean and free solar energy.

Solar Street Light Natural light is received by the photoelectric panels during daytime and cells to convert solar power into electrical power. The solar panels have adequate number of cells to perform this job of converting the power derived from sunlight into power. In solar light most of the solar panels turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using a light source. Solar streetlights are designed to work throughout the night.
