1. Introduction

1.1 System Overview The redesigned iStartonMonday.com will be working based on the Wordpress. At the backend it uses MySql to store the data and is hosted on ‘asmallorange’ ISP.

1.2 System Requirements This section will illustrate the minimum requirements of the system.

1.2.1 Hardware Requirements No minimum hardware requirement for Wordpress as stated on their website. http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

1.2.2 Software Requirements Needs PHP 5.2.4 or greater. Needs MySql 5.0 or greater. Runs on Safari 5+, IE 5+, Firefox 3+ and Google Chrome 5+

1.2.3 Other Requirements NA

2. Installation Procedures Since iStartonMonday is a website, it doesn’t need installation.

3. Operational Procedures 3.1 Browsing

Operation Steps 1. Open your browser 2. Fill the address bar with URL: http://iStartonMonday.com to jump to the Home Page of the

iStartonMonday; 3. Click on subpages through navigation bar.

3.2 Registration Enable different users to register with related authorities. Note: this is only applicable to Job Provider and Jobseeker.

Operation Steps 1. Go to iStartonMonday Intranet website as described in 3.1. 2. Click on “Register” button which is located at upper-right corner.

3. A register form will prompt and please fill your details. 4. First Name, Last Name, email id and password are mandatory to register on the website. 5. Select the type of user.

6. The questionnaire changes according to the type of user selected. Fill up the required questionnaire. 7. Click on “OK” to Register.

3.3 Login 1. Go to iStartonMonday Intranet website as described in 3.1 2. Click on “Login” button which is located at upper-right corner. 3. A login window will prompt and please fill your account name and password. 4. Click on “OK” to ensure your login.

3.4 Subscribe/Unsubscribe Job seekers can subscribe for email alerts for new job postings on the website.

1. Enter your email address in the subscribe box on the right side of the page. 2. Press Subscribe to get email updates or Unsubscribe to remove your email address from receiving updates. 3. You will get a confirmation message as shown in figure 8.

3.5 Search Jobs Job seekers have a facility of keyword search for jobs on the website.

1. Type your search in the search box provided on the right side of the page. 2. Press Enter

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 Frequently Asked questions Question ) How can employers find me? Answer) Please register on the website and leave your details on the website. Employers can only look up for job seekers who have registered on the website. Question ) I am a registered user. Do I need to subscribe to receive email updates. Answer) No. Registered users are automatically subscribed for email updates. Question) I don’t want to register on the website. Can I still get email updates. Answer) Yes. Please enter you email in the subscribe box on the home page and press Subscribe. Question) Do I need an invitation to join? Answer) No, anyone can join the website as a jobseeker. Job posters/ Employers need to be approved by the administrators before they start posting jobs.
