PRESENT POSITION OF SWRPRESENT POSITION OF SWR
The aim of SWR is to validate social work
concepts as practiced in Indian settings.
Most of the SWs are engaged in social
research sociology, social psychology, rural &
urban development, management etc.
Poor documentation of research works.
Not much work is done to validate social work
practice in Indian social work settings.
No proper body to assess the quality and
quantity of SWR as the association is weak.
