Social media

•  Is the interaction among people in which they create, share or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks.

Internet forum

• An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.

• They differ from chat rooms in that messages are not shown in real-time, to see new messages the forum page must be reloaded. Also, depending on the access level of a user and/or the forum set-up, a posted message might need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes visible.

Microblogging

• From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia• Microblogging is a broadcast medium that exists in the form

of blogging. A microblog differs from a traditional blog in that its content is typically smaller in both actual and aggregated file size. Microblogs "allow users to exchange small elements of content such as short sentences, individual images, or video links",[1] which may be the major reason for their popularity.[2]

These small messages are sometimes called microposts• As with traditional blogging, microbloggers post about topics

ranging from the simple, such as "what I'm doing right now," to the thematic, such as "sports cars." Commercial microblogs also exist to promote websites, services and products, and to promote collaboration within an organization.

Social network

•  A social network is a social structure made up of a set of social actors (such as individuals or organizations) and a set of the activities between these actors. The social network perspective provides a set of methods for analyzing the structure of whole social entities as well as a variety of theories explaining the patterns observed in these structures.[1] The study of these structures uses social network analysis to identify local and global patterns, locate influential entities, and examine network dynamics.

• Internet social networks are pages that let people connect with their friends and even make new friends, to share content, interact and create communities of similar interests: working, reading, games, friendship, relationships, etc.

Podcast

• From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia• A podcast is a form of digital media that

consists of an episodic series of audio or digital radio, subscribed to and downloaded through web syndication or streamed online to a computer or mobile device. The word is a neologism and portmanteau derived from "broadcast" and "pod" from the success of the iPod, as audio podcasts are often listened to on portable media players.
