Azimuthencoderinstallation
• Theazimuthpivotboltneedstobereplacedwiththesuppliedazimuthpivotbolt.Unscrewtheexistingazimuthpivotboltandremovetherockerbox(putawaytheboltandthenutbutkeeptheplasticbushing):
• Locatethenewazimuthpivotbolt,insertitintotheplasticbushing:
• Inserttheboltwiththebushingintotheholeinthegroundboard:

• Turnthegroundboardupsidedownwhileholdingtheboltinplace:
• Locateasquarealuminiummountingplate• Screwthemountingplateontotheboltwiththesurfacewithconcentriccircles
finishfacingthegroundboard
• Fixthemountingplatewiththescrewsprovided

• Unscrewthebolt,turnthegroundaround,inserttheplasticbushingandawhite
plasticwasher
• Carefullyputtherockerboxontopofthegroundboard,inserttheboltwithametalwasherandscrewittightly(butmakesurethattherockerboxcanrotate):

• Puttherockerboxwiththegroundboardonitssideandfixtheboltwiththenutprovided:
• Positiontherockerboxwiththegroundboardnormallyandinserttheazimuth
encoder’sshaftintotheholeinthepivotbolt:
• Inserttheanchorboltintotheslotontheencoder’sarm,markitsplacewithapencil:
• Removetheencoderandfixtheanchorbolt’sfootwiththescrewprovided:

• Puttheencoderbackon,tightenthegrubscrew(onthepivotbolttoholdtheencodershaft),installthecabletieandconnecttheencodercable:
AltitudeEncoderInstallation
• Thealtitudeencodercanbeinstalledoneithersideoftherockerbox.Removethecarryhandlefrom(theonewiththeshorterthreadandwithouttheballbearings).Screwtheencodershaftcouplerprovidedinitsplace:
• InserttheAltitudeencoderintothecoupler:
