How to find your way around the ‘Agricultural Education and Training Archive’

If you are a RONNA member after you sign

in your name will appear in the top right corner.

To find the Agricultural Education and Training Archive hold the mouse over the ‘Communities’ tab. To browse and download files, you do not

have to be a member of Ronna.

However if you Request Membership, you will be allowed to upload files to the Archive.

A drop down menu will appear. Find the tab labeled as ‘Agricultural Education and Training Archive’. Click it

This right side area titled ‘useful links’ will appear on every page and will take

you to information useful for uploading/organizing your files to Ronna, site navigation, etc. The area to the left will appear on the main page only and will contain this information and more.

The Translation Tool will appear to Ronna members only. See Ronna Administrators if interested in using this tool.

Here are the topics for the Archive. They are categories that we will use to relate

uploaded files to. To view the files, simply click any of the topics.

Browsing and Finding Files within ‘Specific Topics’

1) The simplest way to search for files in the Archive on Ronna is to select a topic- which is found on the left side of the page. After clicking any topic a page similar to this one will appear and a list of subtopics will appear.

3) These are the subtopics within ‘Beef and Dairy’ Files that have been tagged

with these specific subtopics will appear within their respective subtopics.

2) This is the main topic that was clicked on. This tab will list all files within ‘Beef and Dairy Production’

In addition to searching through the subtopics, you can also filter

the selections by different criteria.The first is by clicking ‘Type’. The drop down arrow will appear and

display the file types that are present in the list.

The next way is by clicking the arrow appearing by ‘Name’. The drop down

arrow will display the option to arrange in ascending or descending order.

The next way is by clicking the arrow appearing by

‘AgricultureTopic’. The drop down arrow will display other topics

that can be used to filter through what you are looking for by what

topics it may relate to.

Lastly you can select files to display by using the language of

the document.

Browsing and Finding Files Using ‘All Topics’

Next, we will take a look at ‘All Topics’

When ‘All Topics’ is clicked all the files will be listed and are ordered based on the below categories. To

search through all the files, you can do several things, first you search by who modified it. Highlight

the Modified By bar and a drop down arrow will appear. Click it to view the names. And the option to

arrange by ascending or descending order.

Next you can modify the order of the files by date. Highlight the Modified

bar and a drop down arrow will appear. Click it to view the available dates. And the option to arrange by

ascending or descending order.

Next you can modify the order of the files by Title. Highlight the Title bar and a drop down arrow will appear. Click it to arrange by ascending or

descending order. ‘Show Filter Choices can also be clicked, we will

show that later.

Next you can modify the order of the files by Name. Highlight the Name

bar and a drop down arrow will appear. Click it to arrange by

ascending or descending order.

Next you can modify the order of the files by File Type. Highlight the Type bar and a drop

down arrow will appear. Click it to arrange by ascending or descending order or by the file

types that are present in the library.

Browsing and Finding Files using Filtering Items

The next way to view files is by selecting AgricultureTopic or AfghanLanguage on the left side. Simply click one of the languages

given and all other languages will be sorted out with only the desired language remaining.

This Option is only found when on the All Topics Page

Also by selecting the down arrow for AgricultureTopic will show topics and subtopics within those that you can search by. Business here is the topic with four subtopics underneath it.

This filtering box can also be used by typing the desired tags or clicking the

tag icon to see the listed tags.

Browsing and Finding Files using the Search Bar

An additional feature to search for files would be to use the search bar provided at the top of every page.

Simply enter any word that you are interested and hit enter

You have the option of searching the entire Ronna site or just the Agricultural

Education and Training Archive

The heading ‘Helpful Websites and Information’ that is found under ‘External Links’ will take you to a page with links to other websites that can provide valuable information relating to Agriculture and

Afghanistan.
