Siri is our virtual personal assistant, and debuted when the iPhone 4s

came out.

Ge'ing  started  with  Siri… •  Siri is the personal assistant that helps you get things

done just by asking. It allows you to use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and more.

•  To activate Siri- o  Tap “Settings” > “General” > “Siri” o  Toggle Siri to ON (if it’s on, it’s green!).

•  To command Siri, hold down the “HOME” button (the button below the iPad screen). Siri will pop up and ask, “What can I help you with?”

Make  sure  you  fill  in    “My  Info”  to-­‐‑

•  Send messages and emails under your name

•  Help Siri understand your relationships better o  If you tell Siri, “Luisa is my boss”, every time you

ask Siri to “Call my boss”, she’ll understand who that is.

•  Help you get home! If you fill in your address, each time you ask Siri to “Take me home”, she’ll lead you there.
