Hello Family and Greetings from the sunshine state. Family members here are geared up and working hard on planning and organizing for the 2015 Shepard Reunion to take place right here in sunny South Florida. We are looking forward to each and every Shepard taking part in this awesome event. We have had some great reunions in the past including the last one that was held in 2013 in Atlanta, Ga. Now we expect every round to go higher and higher. So for 2015 we expect, with your participation and the help of Almighty God, for the Shepard Reunion to go to the next level. You best believe that South Florida is planning for all to have an awesome and exciting time. So spread the word. Jakayla Massey was promoted to Jr. High School. Taniyah Burden received Honor Roll, Citizenship, and Presidential Education awards. Jakyla and Taniyah are the children of Lashanta Bryant. Rachel Kendrick ran for and won a S.E District Ambassador seat on Virginia’s 4-H Cabinet. Rachel is the daughter of Recardo Kendrick and the granddaughter of Gertrude Kendrick. Congrats to Ricky, the son of Rueben Jr. on his weight loss success. Desmond Parker graduated with a Masters of Education (M.Ed.). Desmond is the son of Vernithia Parker. Angela (Felicia) Wilkerson was in a race for a local public office in Ohio. Even though she did not win her seat, she is still a winner in our book for having ambition. Felicia is the

Since our last reunion Kendall Shepard has been blessed with a son, Jayden Nasir Childs. Kendall is the son of Clinton & Faye Shepard. Amanda, Pam’s daughter, has a new bundle of joy – a boy, Javion, who is a few weeks old. Amanda is Barbara Lockhart’s granddaughter.

On 2/18/14 Lashanta Bryant and Reginald Smith began a new life together as they united in holy matrimony. Wishing the happy couple a healthy, happy, and prosperous life together.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Let us remember to pray for and encourage each other, especially those family members and others that we know, who are going through something.

We want to encourage and congratulate all family members who have challenged themselves to live healthier lives. We are still waiting for the rest of you. Try to commit to routinely exercising, quitting smoking, eating healthier, drinking more water, etc. We want you to be around a very long time. Again congrats Rickey! Kenny Brisher, the son of Barbara Lockhart, had open-heart surgery a few months ago. We want to encourage and wish him, as well as all others who are or have been sick, hospitalized, had surgical procedures, and/or are recuperating; a speedy recovery.
